Family Tree is a short animation retracing my family’s origins.
The animation opens with my grandparents’ life story. It continues with my parents’ experiences and concludes with my own. The video is interrupted by a narrator reading my favourite book “the Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho.
A nineteen-forty’s soundtrack was selected to fit the content of the animation.
The animated images originated from my family photos that I collaged. My collages were inspired by the work of Man Ray and Kurt Schwitters.
